For this assessment objective you need to review several different video clips. You could review:

• TV advert
• movie trailer
• music video
• promotional video
• online media clips

In order to achieve a pass you need to list the good and not so good features of at least two video clips.

To achieve a merit you need to identify the aim of the video clip. You also need to give a detailed explanation of the good and not so good features of at least two different video clips and suggest possible improvements.

To gain a distinction you need to identify the aim of the video clip. You also need to give a thorough explanation of the good and not so good features of at least two different video clips and suggest a range of valid improvements to help the video clip meet its aims.
