Assessment Objective 3 - Create an audio clip

For this assessment objective you will create your audio clip. You will use software such as Audacity to produce your audio clip. As you produce your audio clip you will need to take regular screen shots as evidence of you using a range of tools. Take a look at the assessment criteria below to find out more.

In order to achieve a pass you need to create an audio clip that is at least 45 seconds long. You should include screen shot evidence of importing sound files, cutting, copying, pasting and effects. You should include evidence of exporting your audio clip in a suitable format e.g. MP3 file.

To achieve a merit you need to create an audio clip that is at least 45 seconds long. The audio clip must be appropriate. You need to show good use of importing sound files, cutting, copying and pasting, splitting/trimming clips and effects. Most elements will work as you intended. You will also include evidence that that you have exported the sound file in a suitable format.
