Assessment 0bjective 5 - Create a web banner

To achieve a pass you will produce a static advertising banner, combining text and graphics.

To achieve a merit you will produce an advertising banner that has some form of user interaction (e.g. hyperlink), combining text and graphics. This should be fit for purpose.

To achieve a distinction you will produce an interactive, animated/moving advertising banner, combining text and graphics.This should be fit for purpose and audience.

To find out how to create a web banner take a look at the graphic tutorials page. Remember, to achieve a distinction the banner needs to be interactive. You could create your banner, then when you insert it into a web page make it interactive by adding a hyperlink to the image.
