Activity 7 - Assessment Objective 7 - Evaluate your website

In this Activity you will evaluate the website you have created.

Use the activities below to produce evidence for your assignment. 

A  Evaluate the website you have created for Phones Your Way.  Consider the quality of the 

 website in terms of: 

•  suitability for purpose and audience 

• content

•  readability (use of colour, language) 

•  usability (navigation, ease of use) 

•  accessibility (ALT tags). 

At Pass level, the evaluation must cover the suitability of the website for purpose and  audience and the readability of the website.  To achieve a Merit grade, the evaluation must  also cover the usability of the website.  To achieve a Distinction, the evaluation must also  cover the accessibility of the website.  Comments must be supported using examples from  your completed website (This could be presented as a word-processed document with screenshots or as a  presentation). 

B  Give examples of your own strengths and weaknesses during the project. 

At Pass level, a small number of examples will be given.  To achieve the higher grades,  detailed and thorough examples must be given (This could be presented as a word-processed document with screenshots or as a  presentation).
