Activity 3:  Create functioning hyperlinks 

Assessment Objective 3 

In this Activity you will create hyperlinks to link the pages together, link to other websites on the  internet and link to email, where appropriate. 

Use the activities below to produce evidence for your assignment. 

A          Create functioning hyperlinks that link the pages together and that link to external websites.  

For example: 

• menus 

• navigation bar 

• text hyperlink 

• hotspots/image maps 

• buttons 

•  hyperlink to email.  

To achieve a Pass grade all pages must be linked together and there must be links to  external sites.  To achieve the higher grades, the linking method must be consistent and  structured and include at least one link to email and at least one hotspot/image map.  To  achieve a Distinction grade the method of navigation must be well structured and consistent  across all pages.      (This could be evidenced through the use of screenshots or printouts of HTML code)
