Navigation menu with drop down sub menus Tutorial

In order to complete this tutorial you should have completed the Rollover Buttons tutorial and the Navigation Menu tutorial first.

In this tutorial you will add drop down menus to your navigation menu. These will be sub-menus to allow the audience of your website to find exactly what they are looking for. An example of this can be found on Internet Geography. Visit the home page of Internet Geography and roll your cursor over the GCSE button.

Lets get started!

Step 1
Click on the image button from your menu in your web page. The click on the Tag Panel > Behaviours > + > Show Pop-Up Menu (as shown below).

Step 2
In the Show Pop-Up menu type on the text you want to display and the location of the hyperlink. To add more links to the menu click the + symbol. You can use the arrow icon to order your links.

Step 3
Click the Appearance tab to change the appearance of the menu.

Step 4
Click the Advanced tab to configure the properties of the drop down menu table.

Step 5
Click the Position tab to position the drop down menu in relation to the image.

Step 6
Save the web page then load it in your browser. It should look something like this. If you want to edit any of the settings for the drop down menu you should select the image button then click on the Show Pop-Up Menu from the Behaviours tab in the Tag panel.
